Society name: The name of this society shall be the Nelson Mandela University Peace Club, which in short could be referred to as The NMU Peace Society.

Vision: As members of the Nelson Mandela University Peace Club, we are committed to building a world that upholds the values of peace, unity, justice, and education. We hold this oath in high regard, pledging to honour it in all our endeavours, and to work together to create positive change in our communities and beyond.
Mission: The aim of the club is to foster a sense of unity among individuals from diverse cultural, political, religious, and racial backgrounds, both within the Nelson Mandela University community and the broader community. Our goal is to promote justice and uphold the rights and responsibilities of each individual. Through our efforts, we seek to build bridges and cultivate mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
Society Description: We are a team of Peace-loving students and staff of the Nelson Mandela University’s faculty of Education in collaboration with other faculties, societies, organizations, and the surrounding communities. Working together, it is our Mission to ensure our Vision comes to Life and benefits not everyone, especially those in need. We are an NMU family, changing life for the better.
